What is NINJA?

NINJA is an SPL token with a fixed supply of 50,000,000 tokens on the Solana blockchain.

NINJA is the token of the Ninja Protocol ecosystem.

Origins of NINJA Token

• A total of 50,000,000 NINJA tokens were originally minted by an anonymous developer going by the pseudo-name "Yuzu" on May 1st, 2021.

• Roughly 2.2M NINJA tokens were distributed for free via airdrop to early community members who created artwork and supported the discord with boosts.

• NINJA token hard-forked on June 23rd, 2021 into a new fractional NINJA, original NINJA tokens were renamed to OLDNINJA.

NINJA Token Utility (Phase-A)

The goal of the NINJA token in Phase-A is to give holders a variety of benefits and rewards within the Ninja Protocol ecosystem based on their holdings of NINJA tokens for being early supporters.

The NINJA token's tiered system gives holders the ability to unlock more features and benefits within the ecosystem as they increase their holdings.

During Phase A the main utilities of NINJA token are.

• Passive rewards of NINJA token.

• Whitelists and airdrops for Ninja Protocol NFTs

• Early access to Ninja Protocol applications and games.

Early access gives holders the unique ability to take part in voting on important decisions regarding Ninja Protocol in its early days of development.

More utilities and use-cases for the NINJA token will be built out over time as more applications, games, and, NFT collections get released.

Around September of 2022, the Community-Chest is scheduled to be depleted of NINJA tokens and we will transition to the second phase of the NINJA token utility.
